This is part of a longer protective supplication that continues along the right border.
Right Vertical Border (Read from Top to Bottom)
“…and from that which brings evil upon the land and the sea, and from all that Allah has created. I seek refuge in Allah, besides Whom there is no deity, the Ever-Living, the Everlasting, from the harm of that which descends from the heavens and that which towers above the earth, and from the evil of every harmful creature…”
Meaning: This is a traditional Islamic supplication seeking Allah’s protection from natural disasters, dangers during travel, harmful influences, and every form of evil.

4. Red Section – Prayer for Healing (Du’a al-Shifa)

The section begins with the title:
“Prayer for Healing and Relief from Suffering.”
The principal supplication reads:
“O Allah, You are the True Healer. There is no healing except Your healing. I ask You for complete healing from every pain, illness, and weakness within my body…”
Meaning:
This is a traditional Islamic prayer in which the believer asks Allah for physical and spiritual healing, relief from illness, and protection from harmful influences.
5. Green Circle – The Seal of Faith
At the center appears the Islamic Declaration of Faith (Shahada):
“There is no deity except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
Around the green circle are several of the Beautiful Names of Allah:
- Ya Hannan (O Most Compassionate)
- Ya Mannan (O Most Generous Bestower)

6. Blue Section – Litany of “La ilaha illa Allah”

“There is no deity except Allah…”
Each line continues by describing one of Allah’s Divine Attributes:
“There is no deity except Allah, the King, the Truth, the Manifest.”
“There is no deity except Allah, the Judge, the Just.”
“There is no deity except Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers.”
“There is no deity except Allah, the One without any partner.”
Meaning:
The repetition of these declarations forms part of the Islamic remembrance of Allah (dhikr), which traditionally nurtures inner peace, spiritual reflection, reconciliation, and trust in God.

This section contains the opening words of the famous Qur’anic verse Ayat al-Kursi (Qur’an 2:255):

- Zgornji tekst: Kratke molitve za moč, pogum in premagovanje ovir.
- Meč: Prikazuje legendarni meč Zulfikar (dvorezni meč, ki ga je prerok Mohamed podaril svojemu bratrancu Aliju).
- Napis ob meču: Tradicionalni islamski rek:“Ni junaka, kot je Ali, in ni meča, kot je Zulfikar!”

“There is no hero like Ali, and there is no sword like Zulfiqar.”
Meaning:
The sword symbolizes spiritual courage, justice, steadfastness, and protection. Within Islamic tradition, Zulfiqar represents strength in defending truth and righteousness.
2. Red Section – Protection from Black Magic and Harmful Envy
This section is written on a red background, which traditionally symbolizes strong protection in this type of talismanic artwork.
The text begins:
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful…”
It continues:
“I seek refuge in the Lord of Daybreak from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of the darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow upon knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.”
Meaning:
This is a translation and adaptation of Surah Al-Falaq (Chapter 113 of the Qur’an), traditionally recited by Muslims as a prayer seeking Allah’s protection from evil, envy, harmful intentions, and acts of sorcery.
3. Yellow Section – Prayer for Sustenance and Success
This section contains supplications addressed to Allah as Al-Razzaq (The Provider).
The prayer asks for:
- lawful sustenance,
- success in one’s work,
- financial security,
- protection from poverty,
- relief from debt.
Among its supplications is:
“O Allah, grant us lawful provision and free us from debt.”
4. Blue Section – Sacred Names and Protective Supplications
The densely written blue text contains a collection of traditional Islamic prayers that are commonly recited during times of hardship.
Among them are supplications such as:
“O Allah, You are my Protector; there is no deity except You. In You I place my trust. Deliver me from every hardship, from the severity of destiny, and from evil-minded people.”
Meaning:
These prayers express complete reliance upon Allah while seeking His protection, guidance, and assistance during life’s trials.
5. Narrow Yellow-and-Green Section – Prayer Against Anxiety
This section contains the well-known Du’a al-Karab, a supplication traditionally recited during times of distress, anxiety, and financial hardship.
It reads:
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and the domination of people.”
Meaning:
The prayer asks Allah for emotional relief, strength, courage, financial freedom, and protection from oppression.
6. Blue-and-Green Section with Animals and Shears
Left Side (Scorpion and Snake)
The scorpion and snake symbolize protection from poisonous creatures, venomous bites, and—symbolically—from people whose words or intentions are harmful and deceitful.
Right Side (Shears or Tongs)
The shears symbolize the “cutting away” or severing of harmful influences, evil attachments, curses, and destructive relationships.

Center:
A black silhouette of a pistol.
Meaning:
Within traditional folk talismanic symbolism, this image represents a prayer for protection against firearms, violent attacks, war, and physical injury caused by weapons.

Dlan je eden najstarejših zaščitnih simbolov na svetu.
- Zapis na prstih in dlaneh: Na vsakem prstu ter na sami dlani so vpisana sveta Božja imena za zaščito, kot so:

- Ya Rahim (O Sočutni)

Meaning: This section reminds the believer of Allah’s infinite mercy, His promise to answer sincere prayers, and encourages never to lose hope in His compassion.

1. Blue Section – The Great Supplication with the Beautiful Names of Allah (Asma al-Husna)
This densely written blue panel contains a lengthy protective supplication (Du’a), beginning with:
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.”
The prayer continues:
“O Allah, I ask You by all of Your Beautiful Names… You are the Source of Peace (Al-Salam), the Granter of Security (Al-Mu’min), the Protector over all things (Al-Muhaymin), the Almighty (Al-Aziz), the Restorer of what is broken (Al-Jabbar)… I ask You to purify my heart, make my path easy, protect me from the schemes of evil people, and grant me success in both this world and the Hereafter.”
Meaning: This supplication invokes several of Allah’s Beautiful Names while asking for protection, spiritual purification, guidance, and success in both worldly life and the life to come.
2. Yellow Section with the Hand (Fatimah’s Hand / Hamsa)
The hand is one of the oldest protective symbols known throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

1. Modro polje z rdečimi krogi (Sveti krogi blagoslova)
Zgoraj je razporejenih 8 rdečih krogov (pečatov), ki obkrožajo osrednje besedilo. V vsakem krogu so vpisana svetostna imena:
- V zgornjih krogih sta imeni Alah ($الله$) in Mohamed ($محمد$).
- V ostalih krogih so imena prvih štirih kalifov (Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali) ter imena Prerokovih vnukov (Hasan in Husejn).
- Osrednji tekst v modrem polju:“V imenu Alaha, Milostnega, Sočutnega. Alah je tisti, ki je ustvaril nebesa brez stebrov… On usmerja vse zadeve in podrobno pojasnjuje znamenja, da bi bili prepričani v srečanje s svojim Gospodom…”

Zelena barva simbolizira raj in duhovno prečiščenje.

Če pogledamo besede v kvadratkih, se nenehno ponavljajo štiri besede:
- Salam (سلام) – pomeni Mir.
- Qawlan (قولاً) – pomeni Beseda.
- Rahim (رحيم) – pomeni Milostni (Božje ime).
- Rabb (رب) – pomeni Gospod.
- Pomen: Te besede skupaj tvorijo znameniti koranski verz iz sure Ya-Sin (36:58): “Mir bo beseda od Milostnega Gospoda” (Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim). Ta verz velja za prinašalca absolutnega miru, varnosti in harmonije v dom.
7. Mošeja Al-Haram / Prerokova mošeja (ponovitev)

Meaning: This passage reflects upon Allah’s creation, His complete authority over the universe, and His continuous guidance of all affairs according to His wisdom.
2. Green Section – Declaration of Pure Monotheism
Green traditionally symbolizes Paradise, blessing, and spiritual purification.
The text begins:
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.”
It continues:
“I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, the One without partner. To Him belongs all dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things.”
Meaning: This declaration affirms the central belief of Islam—the absolute Oneness of Allah—and serves as a reminder of complete trust and reliance upon Him.
3. Yellow Section – Long Prayer for Mercy and Forgiveness
This densely written section contains a series of supplications for everyday life.
Among them are prayers such as:

This narrow strip contains a brief expression of praise:
“Allah is the One who grants success and provides sustenance… Glory belongs to Almighty Allah.”
6. Dark Blue Square with a Word Grid (Letter Talisman – Wafq)
This is a 4 × 4 spiritual matrix (wafq) that contains repeated Qur’anic words instead of numbers.
The four words repeated throughout the square are:
- Salam (سلام) – Peace
- Qawlan (قولاً) – Word
- Rahim (رحيم) – The Most Merciful
- Rabb (رب) – Lord
Meaning: Together these words form the celebrated Qur’anic phrase from Surah Ya-Sin (36:58):

7. Al-Haram Mosque / The Prophet’s Mosque
At the bottom of the poster appears another illustration of the Sacred Mosque with its minaret and dome.

Meaning: The poster concludes with a visual reminder of the holy sanctuaries of Islam and with blessings associated with Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, bringing the entire composition to a devotional conclusion.
